Before Corberan came I would have settled for just staying up. He worked wonders in his first ten games and it raised all our expectations. I myself genuinely thought maybe the team wasn't as bad as we thought and promotion was a distinct possibility.
Sadly it was a false dawn and the players have reverted back to their old lazy indifferent ways.
As others have said the problem begins at the top, we need to get rid of Lai and his minions and rebuild the club from top to bottom however long it takes. Things may get much worse and our generation might not live to see a resurgent Albion, but I hope for the sake of our younger fans a new Albion for them to be proud of is reborn.
Compared to the other midlands clubs we have never had an ambitious owner. Who knows what might have happened if Tom Silk hadn't died in the plane crash.
