In my opinion, Howe has been a little slow to make changes in tight games. Not today. Changes were spot on and have won us the game.

We are third after 29 games. It is truly stunning.

All he needs to do now is start Targett ahead of Burn and we are set

Interestingly, our other managerial target before Howe is doing a great job at Villa.

I'd happily keep Howe for years if he keeps this up. A monumental progression in such a short space of time. He's just about a legend already.

Normally you’d think we’re in a bubble that could burst. I just don’t get that with Eddie. You get the feeling he’s in complete control of our fortunes at Newcastle, he’s working his socks off every day and, most importantly, that there’s more to come.
He brought Bournemouth from the 4th to the Prem - not a feat I remember anyone else doing, but he seems to have steadily improved himself as a manager since then.
Newcastle has found its manager and Eddie Howe has found his club and I can’t wait to see where he takes us.
