They have to be the right players and trying to manage and keep happy twenty odd incomers on big money must be a thankless task. By his own admission even Neil Warnock, the ultimate man manager, struggled with that one.
I think if he could bring in just the players that he wanted on the same budget then they would be mid table now.
I can’t help marvel at how he took Forest from bottom or thereabouts in October to promotion in May. So If Forest do end up back in the cship and I was a Chairman my first choice to get my club promoted would be Steve Cooper
