Huddersfield changed their manager and it has had a positive reaction - but this was expected as it is the Uncle Colin Effect - something that we have witnessed previously.
However, QPR have recently changed their manager with no real improvement. The same could be said for Blackpool (and they're trying it again!). Cardiff & Wigan changed their managers weeks ago and are still languishing at or very near to the bottom of the table.
I think it is a strange, but not unexpected, decision by the Reading board.
