Pity Barnet still have something to play for this season, otherwise they could've turned that into a nice 22 man brawl and got a few more suspensions flying around.

Parkinson also didn't really seem to take much notice of the card, he just stood there applauding his fans, can't imagine that will go down too well with the disciplinary panel.

I doubt he will give a s..t - if there is one criticsm for Notts we are to nice- if we combined rough with our skill we would be unstoppable

Look at to the Warnock sides there were some skilled and rough players - god Warnock himself was covered in controversy always a story

Maybe. However, I’m sure that LW would not like me mentioning this, I do think Parky should take a look at Luke’s post Woking interview. He might learn something about being respectful to the opposition and yet, at the same time, being informative and encouraging to his own players. Boy are we ever so lucky to currently having a great set of players, playing a lovely brand of football managed by someone who is class!

Nobody is disputing LW and the skill of the players, but Langstaff and LW are youngsters to the game, they don't have the arrogance of say Warnock, Clough, Marino etc

Personally speaking I don’t like arrogant people. It seems to me that both LW and Notts are going about things the right way. I think you can be confident of yourself and achieve without showing arrogance. Ultimately, you pay your money you take your choice on the matter.

I don't think Notts are too nice. I think we are respectful, humble, fierce and proud and don't need to resort to the dark arts, gamesman ship or other made up name that can be used to describe timewasting or cheating.

We win by being technically better than the other teams we play, and win by being more skilful, and having more time with the ball than the opposition. We toy with them and grind them down to the point they become demoralised from chasing the ball and trying to win it back. Sometimes we have to be patient and wait for them to get tired (like Woking yesterday) and then when they are at their weakest we go up a gear and punish them.

It's a script that's worked for 31 of our 44 games which at 70% win ratio is not too bad. It's got us where we are and long may it continue I say.
