Think its a real shame we never scored from the penelty spot against Wrexham then things would have been different, god forbid if that is the difference between promotion at the end of the season

If we finish second, you could argue that the championship will have been decided by two penalties - the one we missed at Wrexham and the blatant one the ref missed at home to Dagenham. We score that and there's no way we go on to lose that game.

More than two. Barnet should have had a penalty against Wrexham in injury time yesterday. Dalby had the Barnet players shirt around his neck when the corner came in. Had it been on Mullin its a definite penalty.

Hopefully these screen grabs work and show the none penalty incident.

The best hope with Wrexham is that they'll see that dead sheep and want to shag it, and let one slip in mid-coitus
    🤣🤣🤣

We probably should say "the one we had saved at Wrexham" rather than "missed". Don't want to see Scott get the blame if it did come down to that, he struck it well enough and got it on target, keeper guessed right. Knew we wouldn't score it though as soon as he had to go and re-place it on the spot.

Whilst it is mathematically possible there is still a chance. Wrexham know they need six points from their last three games (assuming we win our remaining two) and the title is theirs. The important thing is that we are fighting and pushing them all the way to the end.

We can’t and should not pick out individual moments and apportion blame to any player should we finish second. It would be unjust and unfair especially with how brilliant this team have been and how much they have given to the cause. The season is a 46 game marathon and out of the 11 games we have not won there will be many factors and moments in which the outcome could have been different.

yes, extending the race can only be good thing - push them all the way.
I think it's better we don't have any uncompetitive, meaningless games - better to keep the squad's levels as high as possible right to the end of the season, it's not as if we've had any cup runs to add to the fatigue.

Boreham's position is weird though, beat Wrexham and it could lead to going back there for the play-off semi. Apart from that their only motivation is avoiding the 5 mile journey to The Hive. Looking at their fixtures, Bromley aren't catching them

I think it'd be unfair to blame one or two moments. People always point the finger at penalty misses, but dropped points from defensive errors or missing sitters will have had the same impact. Notts are a team first and foremost, and any responsibility for (the tiny number of) dropped points shiuld sit with the whole team.

Agree with Cher it's lazy to blame any one incident in a game for a defeat, or any one defeat in a season for a relegation.
