    This current team would be somewhat off the pace in aiming for promotion from league two imo. We’d need serious defensive improvements to the squad if we were going to challenge - all hypothetical of course! Rawlo, Cameron, Bajrami and even Baldwin would struggle in League 2. Brindley and Chicksen, playing as conventional RB and LB would be ok I think. We’d also need a new goalie…..irrespective of what league we are in.

    Baldwin was more than good enough at MK near the top of League One and got released because of injuries. If he’s fit then he’s comfortably good enough for League Two.

    I definitely think our defence is unfairly maligned sometimes. We play an incredibly open, expansive game, deliberately leave masses of space in behind and we still have the second best defensive record in the league, conceding comfortably fewer than a goal a game.
