It was all so predictable. With VK in charge we were never going to get beat by a set of toothless tigers. I think our manager has unearthed a potential superstar in Al-Dakhil and Benson just loves cutting in and curling one into the far corner. He reminds me so much of John Connelly - it's frightening.

The miserable b@stards at Ewood spoiled what should have been a carnival evening for me just ten miles from my own front door. Another 5000 of us should have had a memorable evening. I spoke about the "footballing Gods," the b@stards will not make the play-offs and hopefully League One beckons next season.

I went to bed at around 1 o'clock. I have never slept better in years. Beating Blackburn at Ewood is the perfect cure for imsomnia, the NHS should make it available on prescription at every pharmacy in the land.
