Do you think if they had a procedure it would have helped?
I do.
It comes from the top, I've never really had a leadership role in my employment years ( in charge of small sales team for a few years, but that's it, I tended to work alone) but I think I'm no bad at spotting good strong leadership, I do not see that at the top of DFC.
Anyway that's my tuppence till Friday.
Yes. The information on how many were actually available today should have been made clear. I didn't queue, so wasn't affected but there must have been a number of ST holders who did queue who actually had no chance of getting any when visual arithmetic might have suggested that they would. These are season ticket holders, who have backed the club financially for the whole season. I think a bit of transparency in advance was deserved.

Wasn't going to get involved in this thread because I genuinely thought there was two sides to the argument and although heated both sides passionately but relatively fairly put forward their views. Fwiw I reckon the club is on a hiding to nothing here and 99% of our ire should be directed against Queens Park for their tinpot ticket shambles. Yes the club maybe didn't do this or that right but that pales into insignificance compared to where the real fault lies.
Further to my last post I have read and listened to the criticism of the club here and again imo it is way way over the top. Some who have had harsh words about the club and situation e.g. Returnoffross at least post about the football side of things and at times have positive things to say but rightly keeping on about communication and lack of respect to fans from the board. There are many in between who argue one way or the other, passionately, and while I don't always agree with them I respect their views. My main problem is with the few especially Islaydarkblue who, albeit imo, seem to revel in criticising the club they purport to support. Passionately bringing up things that they do not agree with can be constructive and illuminating but there is a line and imo Islay, especially crosses that line and along with a few others seem to get their kicks from doing down the club they allegedly support. Their criticising posts about the running of the club far far outweigh any positivity or indeed posts about the playing side of things. I, for the life of me, cannot see how you can be a supporter of our club and on a daily basis trash it on here. I'm sorry but I have to come back to Islay when did you last post anything positive about the club? Your contributions are verging on trolling and are way over ' normal' criticism and appear to me, for one, as having an agenda against the club. It is tiresome to read and I'm honestly worry why you hate the club so much.
If the management of Dundee Football Club did things properly and were interested in both season ticket holders and non season ticket holders and communicated with the Dundee FC supporters but that sadly no longer happens.
I was a Dundee FC armchair supporter for 28 years and the way things are going it would not be difficult for me to become an armchair Dundee FC supporter once again.
I do not hate the club but I am still furious about the lies stated about my tour of the Club’s Offices in the Gardyne campus on 7th October 2022 by Greg Fenton in an email to the secretary of Dee4life and in an unsigned letter which had Dundee Football Club Ltd written at the foot of the letter which was sent to the Directors of Dee4life on 7th December 2022.
