Absolutely. Empty seats seem to be the majority here tonight. The clubs are 5 miles apart and it's a play-off game. And the stadium is tiny. What is the matter with the fans of these two clubs? That stadium should be rocking!

Surely we have to use our numbers and support to the best advantage on Sunday. Respect the opposition and their fans but make Meadow Lane a place where the shivers of fear go up their spines.

    Nearly 900 Wood fans thought.

They will travel to Notts in decent numbers. We’ve given them 1500 tickets to sell.

Doubt they'll sell more than 750 to be honest. That's about what they get at home games.

Their 3rd appearance in the NL play offs. Reached the final in 2018, beating Fylde (QF) and Sutton (SF) before losing out to Tranmere at Wembley where the attendance was 16,306, less than we've had for a NL league fixture at Meadow Lane.
2020, behind closed doors, they beat Halifax in the QF but then lost at Harrogate.

According to the BBC, last Saturday the game against Dagenham & Redbridge drew exactly the same attendance.

That’s pretty pathetic given that they’re 6 miles apart, there were more fans at the recent league meeting between the teams.

Crowded market some might say but to give it some perspective its also less fans that at half the tier 7/8 playoffs finals!

As sad as it is, I think Arsenal playing at home to Chelsea last night will have had a big impact on the attendance.
