I've been told the same thing many times, but never in quite such a nice way.

They’ve absolutely nothing to lose. Neither should we….but because of the way the league finished…..we do.

You can't help but love the bloke but I want to see the beaten side of him on Sunday.

A lot of fans when they have the Wood on, fancy giving them a good beating.

A chance to return the stuffing they gave us over the covid payments.

One thing's for certain: it'll be hard.

We've just got to cum up with the goods on the day.

That's because Boreham picked their team to play with a hairy Bush last night.

Our record against BW is a concern. 1 win in the last 7 and just 2 goals scored in the last 3 Meadow Lane clashes.

Overall League record v Boreham Wood
    Pld:8 W:2 D:5 L:1 F:11 A:10 GD:+1 pts:11
    Average PPG: 1.38

Home League record v Boreham Wood
    Pld:4 W:1 D:2 L:1 F:4 A:4 GD:0 pts:5
    Average PPG: 1.25

The one defeat wouldn't scream "bogey team" but at this level - where Notts win the majority of games - BW are close to being one.
Based on the H2H stats, Sunday gong to penalties would not be a surprise, but I'd hope the big crowd will make all of the difference. They've never played in front of more than 6 033 at our place previously.

We need to score first, we don't want to have to come from behind.
