We get much bigger crowds now (especially when considering home fans tickets sold) than we did during the season we nearly got in the league 1 playoffs, last decade.

So it stands to reason if we was doing well in league 1 now, we would be getting sell outs most games. If we got to the championship, then we definitely would.

If we got to this point and (unbelievably) needed to increase stadium capacity, how would you suggest we do it?

My suggestion would be to widen the back of the JS stand and gain the extra room to legally be able to use its whole capacity again. That would be a quick fix.. but what about long-term?

Where / how would you increase capacity of the ground?
I don't know the exact figures but when the stadium was built was the capacity not 20,300? But it's had to be reduced to 18,816?

So the first job would be is how to we get these 1,484 seats back? What work would need to be done and would the investment be worth it?

I'd imagine the easiest way to increase the capacity by other means is to fill in the corners between the DP and Kop and the DP and the family stand and it would nicely stich all three sides of home supporters together.

It would keep the JS completely separate for away fans only until such time attendances grew where it has to be opened up partly for home supporters as is the case for Sunday's game.
