With regard to the EFL "mid-term review", I posted elsewhere that it needs to happen now. One poster replied that it took place last month and there is no change. Had we gone up there would have been movement on the wage front.

No idea if that's true but thought I'd share the info.

Here's the pic. Ref looking straight at it. Player has both hands on Fozzy's shirt. Shirt riding up his back. I'd love to hear why the ref didn't think it was a penalty, especially based on the one he gave them...

No. Close friends who's dad recently died are Bolton fans so that's the main reason. But if it makes you happy to think otherwise knock yourself out.

You’re a deeply suspicious human being, Gunt.
Think most of us would agree we only have ourselves to blame...not so much for yesterday but for all the dropped home points during the last couple of months of the season.
I don’t really care tbh, but of the four teams left my personal preference would be Bolton just because they’ve had an experience not dissimilar to ours and because of the Ian Evatt connection. He’s one of our youth products in case you don’t know and a player, imo, we should never have let go.
I also have a soft spot for Darren Moore but ultimately, coming from the west side of the Pennines, I’ll support Lancashire over Yorkshire.
Good luck anyway...don’t think Peterborough really deserve it as much as the other three who’ve been amongst the pacesetters all season, but que sera sera. See you next season when I expect us to have some bigger lads in the squad.

Re the pic... The defender holding Fozzy's shirt isn't even looking where the ball is, it's just about to leave Hourihane's boot. Another defender has hold of Dobbin and is also not looking at the ball.

You gave me that impression. Sorry.

The penalty decision was a disgrace, ram, and all the worse because it was such an important game. But it's similarly disgraceful that we're still waiting for one after 46 games. It's ironic that the latest two stone wallers against Peterborough would have seen Derby in the play offs. Still, maybe the last game of the season scenarios are almost as enoyable as the semis, at least as the neutral is concerned.

IIRC we have conceded 11 penalties this season. Half a dozen wrongly so. We've received 8, 2 or 3 of which were soft.

Still. things even themselves out...... do they ####

No that's a myth. Maybe things even themselves out over three or four years or so, but not in our case this season.

If you take the last half a dozen seasons, I expect ours to even themselves out by the 12th of never.
