Very happy to add my congratulations to Dave and Salt, but also to Phil buddy for his continuous work in providing and managing the league.
I think I mentioned it earlier in the season, but would a get together at the Vine, during the close season, for participants and of course all others be of interest ?
(Happy memories of meeting up with Phil some years ago)

In principle, a get together would be good but for me, it’s a 130 mile round trip and having to drive back, probably only one drink! Before we know it, though, pre-season matches will be announced, maybe a meet prior to one of those?

We’ve played Northampton Town a few times in pre-season games but the last time I went for a pre match drink there, they refused me entry! Geoff always reminds me of that!

Hi Paul - The one and only Occassion when we did a presentation was for yourself in The vine in 2017, that's 6 years ago, how time flies eh! Last season Mick kindly volunteered to donate a winners/runners up trophy and a wooden spoon one, unsure if that happened.

This season Mick again said he would do the same but as we haven't seen much from him of late I'm unsure if a trophy is in the offing so its watch this space Dave. If a prize is forthcoming then a meet up for some kind of trophy presentation maybe something that could possibly be arranged.
