    It goes without saying that we need to strenghen the defence - and other areas too - if we're playing Europe next season. Otherwise we will crash in both the domestic league and internationally. So Big Dan and Fab will indeed have to get used to not starting every match no matter what.

    I'd much rather see Lascelles leave than the two of them.

    My thoughts exactly. Would give Bruno a bit of a freer role, too, if we had a really good defensive mid. I also think we need a young striker who is beginning to make a name for himself but would be content with not being an automatic starter. Wilson has been just outstanding these last few weeks but we need someone pushing him when he has a fallow period. I think Isak will come to the fore as our main striker next season.

    As for who, I'd take Barnes from Leicester. He'd be an upgrade on Muggy and Murphy, imo.
