I think that it is very insulting to viewers for these dreadful pundits to be paid large sums of money to talk rubbish. Why do you need anybody to tell you what you have just seen? Lineker, for example, should be more than capable of analysing any controversial incidents without asking some idiot’s opinion. The BBC, Sky and BTSport could all save a considerable amount of money by axing pundits. How on Earth anyone can justify using the likes of Clinton Morrison, the Ferdinands (Anton, in particular, is a thick as **** and unable to speak one coherent sentence) and as someone mentioned, the frightful scouse woman. The in-match pundits/Co-commentators are also very irritating, especially the women, they just can’t stop talking and none of it is ever anything of interest. When you think about it, the best football experience is actually being there in the ground, so, when watching on TV, surely it would be better to have the option of turning off the commentary and just having the crowd noise, as you would have if you were there.
