    Luton and Coventry

Both have a fraction of the resources than our club with no high earners! Good luck to both of them as thoroughly deserved! Both teams have goal scorers too!

I hope our players on their luxury holidays have seen their success and feel embarrassed. Both teams have deservedly got to Wembley through running their socks off and consistently playing good football! Pride of the badge many would say!

I hope we take a leaf out of their books - get rid of the dead wood and Fat Ron too!

Albrighton and Chalobah - not exactly Lai’s fault this time for that load of s hite!

What a great story. I really wanted Luton to beat Sunderland and I now want them to go all the way. All the same good luck to both

Yes, I’m pleased for both sets of supporters who have endured some dark days over the last decade or so.

Those dark clouds appear to be heading our way I’m afraid.

But for Corberan we could have possibly been relegated this last season.

It’s nice to see two clubs that have struggled doing well. We had a good season all in all if you consider where Bruce put us in the short time he was here. The Bruce lovers, and there were a few on here who welcomed him with open arms, got it wrong, immensely wrong.

It is repeated so many times on here that Baggie players let the club down, perhaps to a degree some did but I would certainly suggest not one of them went out of their way to do so. We failed to get in the play offs, it’s the players fault, that has been repeated over and over. However, when Big Dave’s Sheffield Wednesday’s boys fail, those same people suggest it’s Big Dave’s lack of management skills that is the problem. It’s all spin really, you make something up and you end up believing it along with a proportion of peoples who just like a bit of a moan.

Perhaps the Wednesday players bottled it, like it’s suggested our own players do on a regular basis, the players who play for the club we support.

Not one of them went out to do so you say! So Grant who cost us 15 million ran his socks off? So was Swift who is a high earning player consistently in the thick of it and didn’t go missing?

I do agree though some gave the effort but are not good enough ie Furlong and Townsend! Pity we seem to have players who consistently play half a season ie Phillips and Bartley - are we getting value for money?

Chalobah and Albrighton were crap and why do we miss out on players like Amad Diallo for one?

What I love about Luton and Coventry are players running their socks off ( like Asante ) for relatively small wages. Don’t mind losing if we had kids or low earners but it niggles most when you have high earners who go missing!

We need more Asante’s as he cost 300K and for me does more than Dike who cost 7 million!

As for Big Dave - he failed with us and we had then a team who should have walked that league ( 3 still play in the Premier ). Wednesday are a big club and it looks like they will have failed to reach the play offs now two seasons on a trot.

Then it makes you laugh Mowbray could be sacked who has worked a miracle at Sunderland with young low earning players. Sunderland consistently played better football than us. I would take Mowbray back over CC as would many!
