I thought he played very well when he got game time (certainly confident on the ball as is required these days) and he certainly didn't do any harm to his standing at Wembley. He should, and probably will, play higher than L2.

As others say there's no sentiment in football and well worded by LW. I would have liked to see if Ed Francis could play the defender role in our team. I seem to remember he has experience there but probably very much too lightweight.

I'm extremely excited to see who we bring in.

The reasons given definitely apply to Ed Francis - he needs to take some other team's midfield by the scruff of the neck
Kairo would have been fully expecting it. Good luck to all of them
It wouldn't surprise me if Francis went back to Gateshead. By all accounts he was a revelation for them and is arrival coincided with their uptick in form towards the end of the season. I can imagine Vinny could go back to aldershot too as he seemed to do well there.

As for Kairo, id be surprised if a club in the national league took a gamble on him.

Vinny was the one I was really hoping we could look to give another 12 months at least, that said it looks promising that we obviously have a number of targets who will no doubt be EFL standard players so expect to replace the three released with better.

That's it exactly, Vinny may turn out something special but we will have players in mind that can hit the ground running now, not needing another year to be a regular first teamer. #radar etc

I think if we are hoping to sign Jones, then Vinny would get minimal game time and that is what he needs right now. I think LW really appreciated Vinny's work ethic and commitment and that is why he was released, because he wanted him to get game time. I'd imagine he'll get snapped up no problem but if he doesn't, wouldn't surprise me if he came back if we had space

Vinny and Francis as a double swoop would be perfect for a number of NL clubs like Dagenham, Aldershot, Wealdstone etc.

Yeah, was thinking the same. Never say never
If not, then I hope he can get something a bit more inspiring and relevant than Aldershot. Maybe something like Brunt's B'Wood loan spell ends (SU re-loan him to EFL) and he takes that spot
