79,389 fans packed Wembley on Sunday to watch Wanderers demolish Argyle and lift the EFL Trophy - and what an incredible day out it was!
Big pitch suited us and we played with skill and bravery and should have won by more than 4 nil but just to be there was more than enough having escaped a winding up order by hours so recently. Amazing feeling, only slightly diminished by Toal's season-ending injury.
Hopefully we won't endure another cup hangover as we did after winning the semifinal. Tough away tie at a resurgent Exeter tomorrow and with 4 teams neck and neck in the race for the final two playoff spots we could really do with a win.
It's theoretically possible that we could be back at Wembley again in May vying for promotion with Argyle but there is so much work to be done between now and then, starting tomorrow.

Somehow we've managed to claw our way up to a precarious 5th spot despite having 4 CBs injured and DM MJ Williams has surprised us all with how well he has filled in in the centre of a makeshift back 3 - as if he's always played there.
With just 3 regular season games left we need a win and a draw to clinch a playoff spot providing there's no huge swing in GD.
Whatever happens, there has been further improvement this season and the club is heading in the right direction.

Playoffs clinched last weekend and there's a lot of chat about who we'll play - but it doesn't matter seeing as we have to beat them all to get promoted.
Hard to believe we were struggling at the bottom of League 2 just a couple of years ago.
Whatever happens, we'll be looking at another new start and huge changes to the squad next season. Promotion would be nice but I wouldn't be too disappointed after the fantastic season we've had and the rebirth of the club.

And so it ends - close but no cigar - losing narrowly to Barnsley who dominated us physically - perhaps something to address next time. Lots of ifs and buts - still a fantastic season overall and expectations exceeded as the long march back from the dead continues.
