Really good short video breaking down our tactics
We saw our previous managers wanting to move towards this, but they were way off compared to how LW implements it.
Cameron and Rodrigues get special mentions, what a bonus if we could get both to resign.
As free agents, they haven't got to do it! But you've got to hope that at least one of them will
What did you think of the video?
Seeing the Liverpool shot at 3:24 shows how attacking it can be and how the free the wide defenders can be.
We can expect LW to double-down on playing this next season - make the most of the experience the players have in it. And we'll have a head start on other coaches that start to experiment with it. They'll make the mistakes NA and IB did, cloggers as the wide defenders, wing-backs who are really full-backs etc.
Double wooshh
Funny how the absence of a dash brings out the Beavises and Buttheads. Wordplay at its finest
Nice to see you finally saw it.
The video was good, reminded me of something I saw last year.

There were a couple of other vids on the same channel about us
It’s a great video and I’m glad it showed the box midfield on this too we pretty much have 4 in CM to smother the other teams I’ve seen some say we need TWO strikers but when teams sit deep that wouldn’t work imo.
It’s possible LW tweaks it again for next season as more teams will attack us so we get more space which could lead to us playing two strikers more often in the National league the vast majority of teams sat in a 5-4-1 system and hoped to go over the top against us with late runners and it worked sometimes but most of the time they went long and just gave us the ball back.
In short LW tactics were much braver than Ardley/Burchnall.
Yeah, IMO it'd amount to losing 2 of our 4 best players - a real setback and pressure on recruitment.
We can be very confident of Cameron though don't you think? RR has to be 50/50 though. As LW said in his retained list statements yesterday, it depends on what kind of offers are out there - for our package to be able to compete
