I don't disagree Zip, however, I think he'll relish it.
Won't care and will be happy playing for the club whereever.
Although, I do think Eddie will make sure he gets CL time.

Aye. I've been one of Longstaff's supporters and he's a great squad member...but...if we're to go to the next level, he's probably playing in the role we'd be looking to upgrade.
He's far better than McTominay, imo, and has deserved the plaudits he's had this season. Especially with the extra European games, he's got a big role to play next season but I think he'll be second choice come the start of the season.

I think Sean can hold his own already and will improve. Eddie clearly values him a lot. We need strong cover for our ‘best 11’ to insure against loss of form, fatigue and injuries. I think he’ll be around for a long time even if he doesn’t start every game.
For £25m McTominay is a decent addition to the squad. £26m is a bad deal for McTominay.
Ugarte will be a class addition however he's known to pick up the odd red card and lose his head. Young lad so I'm sure he'll mature out of it.
Dominik Szoboszlai is an absolute must signing IMO the guy is a unit and tekka's galore!
Tielemans on a free is back in play so I've heard. The lad is 26, he's not became a bad player over the course of a season as he's hitting his peak. A move away from sinking Leicester, a new challenge at NUFC, consistently qualifying for the CL (as we will do from now on) we should see the Belgium international regain his very best form. I'm sure Eddie will get the best out of him!
Marcus Thuram could also be a decent addition at the top, again a free agent in the summer. Good mate of ASM so if he stay & EH wants Thuram could be another class addition for just a signing on fee.
