    Reflections

I was just thinking how different things have been after this season. For the last few years the end of the season was a respite, a welcome break from the fight for survival and another season of non achievement, except for avoiding relegation. There was never anything to look forward to, apart from our brief European diversion. I was never in a hurry to see the recommencement of our premiership travails. But now I can't wait for the season to start, can VK surpass Sean's 7th position? Whatever happens I think it will be an exciting 2023/24.

I think there is a better than evens chance we will be relegated next season, but then again with VK in charge I will personally bet we finish top ten.

No chance we'll make it into Europe or top ten in my opinion. We have some young talent in our squad, and a manager that thought highly of. Brighton and Brentford are exeptional at recruiting talented players. And they have been for several years. Brighton have also got a great manager. We’re not there yet. We are just about to learn what it is like in the PL.
I think we’ll stay up next season, but we’ll be 20 points off playing in Europe.
Just see where I’m at in the prediction thread and put your hard earned cash on this

So you think we are going down and finishing top ten, both in the same season ?

I was trying to rationalise how the bookies will see us and what I personally believe but obviously failed badly. It's a lack of a grammar school education mon ami.

You remind me of Boris and his cake policy, 'My policy on cake is pro having it and pro eating it'

9/4 against us being relegated with SkyBet, they reckon we're staying up.

Always back the Bookies, they're not rich for no reason.
