Romared Match Thoughts Play Off Final Barnsley v Sheffield Wednesday

Let us hope that today passes without some unsavoury incidents like we witnessed at the last play off final that we reached.

It's a football match when all said and done. I hope we can all walk up and back down Wembley way and do Yorkshire proud. Let's all have a good day out.

I can't helping thinking what an arrogant bunch your average Wendy is with what I've read on Owlstalk , nowt I didn't know already mind .

Putting us down over our ticket sales as opposed to them .

In reality we both sold double our average attendance which makes us equal but the Wendy mind doesn't work like that of course and they jump on it to put us down and look down their nose .

If we were playing Fleetwood , Morecambe , Burton or Forest Green today at Wembley and they'd sold less than 10k compared to our 24k we simply wouldn't do that , we'd be humble about it and respect the fact they'd sold double their average attendance .

The thing is how the feck can you be so arrogant and big yourselves up so much when it's a League One Play Off Final and this is their second season at this level ?

I guess the novelty of playing at Wembley for that lot is something that clearly escapes them and goes over their arrogant heads .

It's our 5th visit in 23 years , our fans won't be getting moist in the undercrackers when they see the arch or the Bobby Moore monument , it's old hat for little old tarn .

Well said Poggy. Win or lose, we've had a great season. Whatever the result, it would be good to put in a performance and show ourselves in the best light we can. Carlisle were second favourites to go down at the start of the season. Expectations for us weren't much better. Just saying like.
