My genuine sympathies to all concerned. In my case, my wife of 34 years finally lost her life last year but she had long since lost her personality. Many others had jockeyed for lead position but it was all in vain. She was lost amid all the runners and riders. Thankfully she died last year but it didn't affect me as much as it would have as she had already died years ago.

Genuinely sorry to hear that, I agree though dementia/Alzheimer's is a cruel disease and it is often a relief for all when the person affected. passes.
