The Wedding Present did some Peel Sessions in Ukrainian.

Talking of John Peel. In the early 80s he would often play music by a band called Shoes for Industry. I bought a couple of their 7" vinyl records (sadly sold a few years ago) and one was Sheepdog Trials Inna Babylon which was basically 2-3 minutes of sheep baaing (I guess that's a foreign language) with a few lyrics and maybe some music thrown in. Recorded on the Fried Egg Record label.
