Just read that the formidable Glenda Jackson has passed away at 87. Never what some might term a classic beauty for a film star, even in her youth, but a great actress and a straight talking politician. Maybe better known for her theatre work than film I always liked her in Ken Russell's "Women in love" and her more recent turn in "Elizabeth is missing" was quite moving. Yet another icon gone. Obviously a sign of getting old myself😞 RIP Glenda
