He's a 1 in 3.4 striker who has played most of his career in L1 and some in the Championship. Meh. not sure he's a fantastic signing but he's certainly an upgrade on Quigley.

Giving a 3 year contract to Grigg is mental.

Since 2019/20 though, he's hardly scored.

They have that sort of system in the Netherlands and Germany and the tie is always two legs, one at each teams ground. Seems to work well over there.

They had a similar system over here when the playoffs first started, but scrapping between Chelsea and Middlesbrough fans persuaded em it wasn’t a very good idea.

Even though Wembley is still prestigious it's not as prestigious as it used to be, there are now too many matches played there.
It will be interesting to see whether the NL continue to use it for the play off final in future years as there are a number of grounds that would have the capacity to host it - I suppose it depends on the cost.

It's definitely still prestigious to me, and with Notts fans only having one opportunity to visit since it opened I'm sure it is for many.

It has that wow factor , and felt special when i first walked in to go down the steps and take my position to the left of the goal for the final.

Looking back so happy we won beating a club with a decent support , really added to the day/experience.

I have always thought we'd have been better off re-vamping the old Wembley and using it for all the amateur cup finals/National Football museum etc, then building any new National Stadium in the middle of the Country with easy access. Why does it always have to be in bl00dy London?

I think you already know the answer to that. London centric, the capital, where the money is etc etc.

If it has been built in the middle of the Country would you have then gone to the Notts Vs Chesterfield playoff final? Did the train strikes put you off from going, or was it the North London location?

They should not have started having FA semis there.

I hope they keep finals there though, at least down to NL level.
