I agree with Scum regarding how the Australians have contained England.

Gru the price for a day at Headingley is £98 ont western terrace. I’ll be there for the second days play. If you have any questions for Hamshaw about Lamy I’ll put them to him 🤪

Good on you! Enjoy! Just tell MH Lamy on right Chieo on left we'd have been cooking with gas!

Today fell short again but history was against them. Australia it's more their national sport.

We didn’t lose that test because of bad sportsmanship with the Bairstow wicket.
In fact it spurred stokes on or we would have lost by more.
Root didn’t get a knock and we collapsed yesterday. All this without having to face Lyons.

We need 250 to win in two days, we will not get a better chance.

We had a great day at Headingley on Friday. Good cricket within a brilliant atmosphere. Obviously the weather was fantastic and we got to watch a full day’s play..

I hope we can chase down their total and keep the series relevant for the next 2 matches.

I agree but it was 'gutter' sportsmanship none the less. Akin to the Leeds v Aston Villa situation the other year. Bairstow had been doing the same thing regularly before and so,as I see it,the Aussies should have warned him of it before acting on it.What I agree with you on is on the series so far as a whole. From the declaration in the 1st innings at Edgbaston to the swash buckling 'bazball',paddle sweeps on the first ball of the day.......it's revolutionary if you win.......but you end up looking like a d**k if you get beat five, nil!
