Banks deal with plenty or corrupt and un ethical big business and are happy to handle the massive money from hideous regimes such as the Saudi’s and the Chinese.

They then make a decision like this against an individual just to make themselves look good with the U.K. public and pretend they have ethics.

How pathetic and transparent is that!

How do you know that is what has happened here though. You are perhaps making an assumption I’d guess. Have you any real evidence to suggest NF has been selected just to make the bank look good with the U.K. public and make it look as though they have ethics.

NF does not have the funds in that bank to be in a position to hold an account or accounts with it. Most banks, even high street banks, put minimum limits on accounts that provide superior benefits.

As for unethical big business, well it of course goes on. Big business or small business, they all continue to trade with the Chinese and the Saudis, despite the atrocious atrocities they commit with regard to human rights issues. Consumers are also guilty as they continue to purchase goods from businesses who support those unethical nations.

Coutts have had to issue a grovelling apology for their "deeply inappropriate" internal report which simply decided that he wasn't "inclusive" enough to remain their client. Not a fan of Farij, but i’m glad the bank has admitted this so that all banks take note that this secret behaviour is not allowed ffs. Hopefully all these other companies who are thinking or were going down this route think twice.
