Maybe apply for the moneyball statto position CB 😎
I don't ridicule the guy he does that all by himself. I simply point out that he makes some understandable but erroneous assumptions.
And no, of course I'm not the only one who is able to get things right, but over the last month and a half (at least!), I'm the only one (apart from a little late in the day, some of the journos like Phil Hay) to state that we would be waiting for EFL approval before anything happens on player transfers, in or out. And contrary to some comments from other posters, I know enough about employment contract law as applied to football at any professional level, to know that unless and until the EFL give their approval, NO transfers in or out can be completed, because the players need to leave and or join a club affiliated to the EFL, and the 49E consortium don't currently own such an entity, THAT is FACT.

I'm sure there were many others who thought the same thing...but just didn't want to reiterate it twenty times over!
And I'm sure there are plenty of things happening behind the scene waiting for the approval tick. Farke would have already done his homework on who he wants to keep no doubt.
Exactly Oz
Like I said in post #24, until the last week or so, there hasn't been any suggestion from anyone (apart from yours truly), that the EFL process might take as long as it has, quite the opposite. I pointed out simply that the EFL don't owe LUFC any favours, past history would suggest quite the opposite, and that the consequence of not having an EFL approval was that no significant ins or outs would happen as regards the playing staff.
Everyone else has been, understandably, commenting on how little is happening, how much needs to happen and how the time to do any of it is rapidly diminishing, all of which I agree with.
I've no doubt you are correct that behind the scenes "stuff" has been happening, the issue being that no matter how much work has gone in to identifying the potential/preferred outs and ins, no actual signings will take place until the EFL approval comes in, having the effect of tying Farkes hands to current players (many of who want away and have stated so publicly, and others that aren't "up to scratch" as Championship players), not an easy circle to square.
And as I stated, you weren't the only one that thought this process would drag on...but you were the only one that wanted to keep banging on about it on here like you were the lone ranger that came up with the notion. Gee I was expecting it to be sorted in 2 days. 🙄
I certainly hope you live near stables so you can park that high horse of yours. 🤔
Solid appointment. Especially given the ownership and squad situation.
