Very pleased for the lad and he's a very likeable guy that puts in a lot of effort on the pitch. However, imo, he was not up to the standard we are now requiring and clearly LW felt the improvement was not quick enough for us to persevere with him on a new contract, we've clearly signed better. It would not surprise me either way if he has found his level in the NL or now kicks on and finds himself up in the EFL in the near future. Whichever it is I hope we don't end up with a Vinny thread like the Ardley and Sam Osborn ones.

Their old owner Stewart Donald has taken over the club again and it looks like they're spending a few quid. So they will be there or thereabouts in the NL come the end of the season. CheaterFurlough won't be getting it all their own way, hopefully.
