You said you knew Farke's deal is with the 49s too
You're suggesting that the lack of any signs of incoming players is a definite ploy on the part of our new "owners" and the new manager/coach, with 5 days to go before we face Scum in Oslo and a month or so before our first match of the new season, so as to do what, solidify a squad ethos that doesn't exist, or a set of playing strategies that presume we will have players available who are already on their way out of the club??

Definitely different, but not necessarily a strategy that will work, methinks, but who knows, you might be right!

Oh wise one, strange that Leeds can release, loan and sell players if your theory is true or did the players suddenly become employees directly of the 49ers before they could go - or some other far fetched implausible nonsense you want to make up.

"The 17-year-old who plays across the forward areas, has been seen primarily on the wings since arriving in the summer of 2022.".

"A number of impressive performances in his 20 outings for the Under-18s side saw McFadden progress into the Under-21s, making three appearances in Premier League 2 towards the end of the promotion winning 2022/23 campaign."

So whilst he may have entered into a professional capacity with LUFC, he was ALREADY contracted to the club as a member of the youth sides, (and hence with the current owner) some 12 months ago. Try to do your homework next time (took me 30 seconds with Google).
What the hell are you waffling about now. You stated LUFC cannot sign ANY player and won’t be signing ANYONE until takeover is complete, this is a professional contract… your wrong end of… can’t wait for your next err insider observations on what’s happening

Your wasting your breath WS - most likely you will now just be insulted or there will be 10 replies to the same message each with a different flavour of doom, gloom and misery whilst professing to be the only one who ‘knows’.

I think this might be the first sign that maybe, just maybe, the 49's are going do do things differently than Orta and his sycophant's.

Farke is actually a rather conventional and proven coach. Has an unbeleiveable record in getting out of the championship. Has anyone else ever guided 2 teams out of that league? It's the hardest league in the world to get promoted out of.

The club haven't signed any players, they have converted a scholarship contract which doesn't attract professional registration requirements or status, which McFadden entered into when he joined Leeds last year, into a professional one, change of contract status, not a new signing.

    Just FYI;

    Most relevant bit.....

"Having initially signed on scholarship terms as a 16-year-old, McFadden’s form has been rewarded with a first professional contract."

Not so hard to understand, surely?

You still waffling, he’s signed a professional contract with Leeds United, something you told us couldn’t happen until takeover is complete. , you also told us Farke had signed with the 49ers… but hey ho bang on with your regulatory updates, sidesteps and general moaning.

And seriously you reckon we are in worse shape now than under Getridsdale..? FFS

About sums it up WS. The Ridsdale, Professor McKenzie and Cpn Birdeye era would take some matching - thankfully we seem to be miles away and fiscally sensible these days.

LUFC cannot sign any new players unless they sign contracts that are "owned" by the current club owners (as the person or organisation affiliated to the FA/EFL). The scholarship contracts for McFadden and Scott Godden who also penned a professional contract today, were entered into by the player and the current owner, all very possible. The change in status of that contract to reflect the changed (and now professional) status of the player are "available" only because they were already contracted to LUFC as scholars.

Lewis Pirie is another example of a scholarship contract being offered, and I suspect that Lewis sees the prospect of joining the LUFC Academy as a step up from Aberdeen, but the contract (as with those for McFadden and Godden), will be with the current owner, and will be "TUPE'd" to the new owner when the acquisition process is complete. No new professional contracts for players not currently contracted to LUFC in any manner will be signed by LUFC until the EFL approval is given and the acquisition of the remaining shareholding by the 49p-ers Enterprises investment group is complete.

If you want to dance on the head of a pin by getting all excited about a couple of Academy upgrades and the signing of another scholar who CAN'T play for the 1st team, knock yourself out. Fact remains, we are 5 days from the first pre-season game, and no new players have been signed (nor will they) and as yet we don't have any clear idea as to who of the current squad will be staying or leaving apart from the couple of loan deals that have left us all breathlessly excited.
