Thread: New manager finally confirmed

The change in status of that contract to reflect the changed (and now professional) status of the player are "available" only because they were already contracted to LUFC as scholars.

Lewis Pirie is another example of a scholarship contract being offered, and I suspect that Lewis sees the prospect of joining the LUFC Academy as a step up from Aberdeen, but the contract (as with those for McFadden and Godden), will be with the current owner, and will be "TUPE'd" to the new owner when the acquisition process is complete. No new professional contracts for players not currently contracted to LUFC in any manner will be signed by LUFC until the EFL approval is given and the acquisition of the remaining shareholding by the 49p-ers Enterprises investment group is complete.

If you want to dance on the head of a pin by getting all excited about a couple of Academy upgrades and the signing of another scholar who CAN'T play for the 1st team, knock yourself out. Fact remains, we are 5 days from the first pre-season game, and no new players have been signed (nor will they) and as yet we don't have any clear idea as to who of the current squad will be staying or leaving apart from the couple of loan deals that have left us all breathlessly excited.
The fact remains despite your assertions we can’t sign anyone - we have - similarly, go figure how we agreed the deal for Koch to go out on loan.

It's been well documented in papers that we can't sign players till owners are confirmed. We hired a dorf on a short stay to look for deals till the FFA approved the deal.
We can agree in principle to buy someone and I might be wrong but also agree to loan out players on the same terms.
This is from what i have been reading and no not what WTF has been saying even though it's the same.

It all depends what the purchase agreement says about transactions until the EFL approval takes place it may have a mechanism for getting Radz’s consent (to be to unreasonably withheld or delayed) or he may be happy to agree to things. Most likely the former which will also deal with who is responsible for the cost.

The deal will most likely have a split exchange and completion the latter being conditional upon the EFL being granted.

Hard to say unless you have sight of the actual agreement but the simple fact is we have both bought and let players go in the period which jackanory was adamant could not happen.
    Hey ho.

Perhaps but the truth is what is happening? 4 weeks till kickoff and we have done nothing even Farke I'm not sure if he agreed to 4-year term officially or on the presumption of the sale going through. I wish some gangster bought us it would be all finalised by now lol.
We have agreed to sell Roberts and loan Koch we have not signed anyone and we haven't actually officially sold anyone.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, WRONG! LUFC have " bought, no one, only converted scholars contracts to professional ones for players already contracted to the CURRENT LUFC entity.

Players sent out on loan ARE STILL CONTRACTED TO LUFC, but let's not let fact get in the way, hmmm?

    Just so it's clear to some who would fervently wish otherwise (simply because I would be shown to be wrong, f00k all to do with the impact in LUFC);

NO NEW PROFESSIONAL SIGNINGS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE THE EFL APPROVAL OF THE ACQUISITION OF THE REMAINING SHAREHOLDING IS COMPLETED. GOT THAT, HO/WE THE ENA SHARPLES AND HILDA CALDWELL OF FOOTYMAD?

How did we manage to offer Foreshaw a contact last week then s@@t for brains?

Noting your are asserting other people are saying things or thinking things that they haven’t said in the way you suggest - what a surprise.

You simply don’t know but are scrounging the internet to find any scrap to support what you have said or to twivot your position - so how many people have direct contracts with the 49ers E or have you now dropped that stupid suggestion never to be acknowledged again.

Endless repetitive nonsense - somethings never ever change I guess.

Indeed, bit like the to-ing and fro-ing with Forshaw and Robles. Would have liked to see the contract extension offered to Forshaw taken up, but it looks like he will be "doing a Robles" and looking elsewhere, supposedly a no-show at Thorp Arch.

Be interesting to see just what kind of a side Farke can make in time for the Scum game.
