A lot of them thought they had seen the last of the Bosch in 1945.

This is an excellent investment by the club. Many fans have bemoaned about the poor quality of the PA system over the years. It is an area of the match day experience that will but it up there with the best you can get at any sports stadium.

It does make one wonder if this will also open up further avenues for other football events to be held at Meadow Lane. For example womens football semi finals or finals, or youth tournaments and finals? Also open air shows and events not related to football such as music? If so then it would help bring in more money for the club.

I keep saying it but you have to admire the owners, for absolute rookies in club ownership they just seem to get everything right and have heavily invested off the pitch that doesn’t happen too often.

It was bloody loud, almost deafening at times! It does have a real good bass sound for the music.

    Certainly was loud.
Just before kick-off you could literally feel the vibrations in your chest.
2 blokes near me (not together) had their fingers in their ears.
When I was driving home I thought that my car was running very quietly - then realised I still had some ringing in my ears.
They have certainly invested. 15 big speakers in the roof of the Pavis and 8 in the Kop. Couldn't see the Sirrel or the Family stand.
There was no sound out the back of the Pavis when I got to the ground. Perhaps that is ensure it minimizes the noise for the neighbours but it also means you wouldn't be able to hear any announcements. Perhaps that will change in the future.

It was certainly a noticeable difference! I don't know if the volume depends on how many are in the ground, maybe we'll know more this time next week when it will be tested with a fairly full stadium. I hope the person in charge of the volume dial gets a bit of feedback from the seats, we want to hear without being deafened.

Unless Faithless is the half time music, then put the volume to the max!
