Is Murray our only hope at Wimbledon?

Jamie that is, looks like with his doubles in mens and mixed could be our only chance.

I watched Boulter last night, a rather pleasant looking Brit against a very good Rybakina, felt sorry for her as she could not hold her first serve at all.

Boulter’s serve is actually not that bad.

The size of a lot of these foreign women is unbelievable when you’re up close with them like I’ve been at tournaments.

They tend to be incredibly strong and lithe whereas ours are more delicate in construction.

There’s also the issue of a lot of our players being from very middle and upper class families, a lot of these opponents come from humble beginnings and are tough mentally and street smart.

She was part of a different discussion yesterday Dub, she is injured as like many she is struggling with the demands of being a pro.

Absolutely right Mick, background and mentality have a lot to do with being good and being the best. Rybakina was on firs last night, at around 6ft (I think Boulter is 5'11) it is like playing a bloke!
