What? You'll have to explain how that is misquoting you.

I see an absolutely typical football messageboard. Some are nearly always negative, some are nearly always positive, most fall in between. All this "feeding on negativity" seems a bit dramatic to me, especially on this thread.

I see it as a rational and worthwhile discussion.

Hopefully this time that is a misplaced fear but it doesn't hurt to be cautious!
I can barely remember when it was last safe to not be fearful; the years under Dunnett. The despair of the 1960's had been shaken off and for more than a decade we had steady improvement reaching the top flight in a fairly stable and settled situation.

The years after that, including the rollercoaster Pavis/Warnock era, taught me to expect the worst despite the occasional elations. But nothing the Reedtz Bros have done has gone near setting alarm bells off. No rash promises, no knee-jerk reactions and steady improvements in nearly all areas and hopefully at least matching the efforts of Jason Turner.

When was the last time we had 4 years of consecutive nightmare/drama avoiding seasons?

We've never previously been in a division where two thirds of the clubs average less than half of our own gates (as low as a quarter in some cases), some of them semi-pro and many only relatively recently going full-time.
The time for making comparison starts now, with this coming season.

We can only judge the owners on what we’ve seen and that has to be a positive view. On the pitch they have invested intelligently and also avoided the situation of having bloated squads which is financially no good and squad morale no good. Off the pitch they have invested and now we have proper foundations in place to go forward.

I would be interested if it’s not been disproved or explained in this thread would be the comments “their not what they seem”, the redundancy bit doesn’t worry me at all, businesses restructure all the time.

QLD is right. Negativity is the staple NCM diet, the traditional tapas of this board for the more pessimistic of fans. You have got to be incredibly blinkered to have missed it. Or intentionally ignore.
Without those so called negative post that you feed off, we would never see you again on this board..
