    Barnsley keen on Watters return
Barnsley are reportedly keen on getting Max Watters back next season.
Watters went on loan to the Tykes at the tail end of last season, having scored no goals for Cardiff despite being installed as the team's main striker by Steve Morison.
He fared far better in League One, though, netting four goals in 19 league appearances for the Reds.

Cardiff would be delighted to offload Watters for his final season for them. His contract with Cardiff expires in June 2024 and to offload as another loan period or permanent transfer would suit them nicely.
He cost them £900K from Crawley in 2021 but only notched 1 goal in 19 appearances for them before being sent out on loan. We have the benefit of seeing him first hand, notching 4 in 21 for the Reds in the Third Division campaign last season.

Trust in Collins. Whatever he decides is fine by me. (Thought I'd get in and be the first to say it )

To be fair SB & this only my opinion that I was not impressed when he first arrived but he started to win me over towards the end of the season , once his fitness levels improved so did his pace & he worked very hard off the ball & those stats are slightly misleading as number of his appearances were off the bench with short cameo contributions & I actually think he might be worth a shout .

We can't say "Trust in Duff, Whatever he decides is fine by me" any longer. The new man Collins will have to rely on James and his Team for advice as to Watter's qualities.
If we would be paying a small percentage of his Cardiff Championship level wages and no loan fee then he may be worth a punt again as the cost risk would be minimal for another body up front.
