Timmy I am so pleased that once again my post has given you the opportunity to show what a righteous, decent person you are/. You truly must be one of the most perfect example of what a CAFC supporter should be.

Nothing personal but do hope that you will understand that IMO you represent one of the most negative supporters. Forever see no wrong.

Passive aggression and condescension in one post. Amazing.

Always good to kill two birds with one stone don't you think Jimmy? I have been supporting Crewe since about 1974/5 and seen good and bad, probably more bad than good if truth be told. But what I have always been confident of is that the club is, by and large, well run and I am sure the club will have it's team in the EFL or whatever it is in time to come long after my demise.

I have been a fan since 1955 and went to away matches with not one other Crewe fan there at the time when there was home and away supporters together. Few fans on this board are qualified to tell me what supporting this club means or not..I am not and never have been a fan of kids and youth football and so the club sold it soul to whoever pays the most for an academy that spends a million a year on poor results and players when the same money would provide far better players in L1..

IMO and it is my opinion that the club is poorly run when they assume this is an academy club first and foremost and seems the Directors want a lesson in the history of this club where we had some very good players and some good seasons. And not one training pitch to be seen. Some academy graduates think the club owes them a living when they refuse to sign extensions. I would stop them playing for the team immediately. I would also half the price at the Railway and Gresty Road ends as it nigh impossible to see the match as good as the main stand central area. I would also stop the overnight stays when the team travels not that far away. How much does that cost the club? Downgrade the academy, reduce the management staff to one and save a load of money and all the above will provide a better well run football club instead of a kids play area..

Its strange that we had one of the poorest football seasons in our history two seasons ago and yet not one of you apart from me and two other fans could see what was wrong and still is...IF you are a serious about being a true fan, then please advise the Bpard what needs doing, like now and stop congratulating the Board for their incompetence...The only conclusion is they know nothing about football as well as the many fans that go to matches..

I saw very good players and was a decent player myself and most academy graduates would not make the grade in the teams back then...Its actually why the players of today cannot play the game and would prefer to pass the ball.....You know, what the coaches tell them to do the whole time..Even George Best and Bobby Charlton would be second rate with modern academies where the coaches are really second rate and cannot tell naturally gifted players how to play this very simple game. IE get the ball and head for the opposition goal. We do the opposite..
