we are playing well and good to watch, only concern is the lack of goals, we need the midfield to start scoring,
hopefully ,Diego will make a difference up front.

I see that the referee for the Bonnyrigg Rose game was Peter Stuart.
This is the same referee who was in charge when we lost at home against ICT last September and Peter Stuart was dreadful as the match referee.
Peter Stuart has to date never refereed a Premier League game with him only being the 4th official at several Premier League games.
I hope that it remains that way for this season.

Don't think the referee was bad at all last night. Made two big calls within a minute the first of which looked correct and the second looked wrong, but otherwise hardly put a foot wrong.

As a result of Peter Stuart’s shocking performance as the match referee in charge of the Dundee v ICT game last September I have been following the games he has been charge of and he has never refereed anther game involving us until last night.
In my Peter Stuart is another of these young (he is 34 years old) referees who should be nowhere near SPFL matches.
He should be put in charge of VAR at the Premier League matches instead of experienced referees such as Steven McLean and Willie Collum looking for a ‘cushy number’ being paid to sit in a nice warm office looking the VAR screens.

Nice warm office, would you rather the screens were outside at pitchside

Yes. Make them suffer! Not looking forward to Var at Dens. More West Coast bias coming our way imo.

How does VAR work? Are there special cameras fitted along the sides of the pitch to take the screenshots that show offside decisions? Are there more cameras needed to provide accurate images from varying angles to help referees? Just interested in the mechanics of the system and would like to know if every ground has exactly the same system?
