Thread: Takeover Approved Yay

New chairman sounded very sensible in the interviews he gave yesterday.

    Ampadu deal done.

Looks like there is chance some of the better senior players may stay - Wober, Adams and Sinnisterra.

Not going to sell Gnonto for peanuts and trying to keep him.

Two or three more decent signings this week would show that they have been working hard behind the scenes waiting for the EFL white smoke to come.

    Pretty decent start.

Radz gave an odd interview to sky sports - a lot of it was self serving but the interesting bit was about Bielsa and the fact that during the summer before his final season he has supposedly said to Radz - replace most of the squad or sack me as can’t take this any further - he did neither.

I know we started at a very low level with the Goldfish collector, but Cellino then Radz now 49ers, it’s a bit better each time for ownership.
We’ve never had an owner capable of pushing the club on properly.

True - some of the owners were possibly what we needed at the time to recover from the Ridsdale then Bates legacy.

Cellino seemed to get the spending under control.

Radz got the training ground upgraded, improved the retail side of things and the commercial aspect. He also got us promoted before losing his way (badly).

He also managed to raise our expectations as I suspect a few of us never thought we would make it back to the prem.

The 49ers investment involves people with a lot more experience and expertise in running bigger operations so as you say it may be the next step we need - fingers crossed.
