On tonight’s BBC 10 o’clock news it was stated that several people have contacted the BBC to state that their bank account with Coutts Bank has not been closed despite them being below the threshold for having an account with Coutts Bank.
I find it very surprising that the management of Coutts Bank did not ‘bend the rules’ to allow Nigel Farage to keep his bank account with Coutts
Bank especially as they have received a lot of poor publicity as a result of their decision.
Dame Alison Rose who is the Chief Executive of Nat West Bank who own Coutts Bank should in my opinion be explaining why they closed Nigel Farage’s bank account with Coutts Bank while other Coutts Bank customers who do not meet the threshold for holding a bank account with Coutts Bank have not had their bank accounts closed.

He's a high profile brexiteer.

Articulate and outspoken on the invasion of England's south coast.

Against uncontrolled legal migration.

Correctly and continuously points out the absurdity of net zero.

The Dutch govt are trying to bring in legislation so that you can only sell your property to a socio economic group or ethnicity of their choosing.

But only for houses below 350k......can't have the rich being impacted.

Other thing they are trying to get thru is if you can only sell your house if you have heat pumps, latest insulation and glazing around 60k to 80k of "improvements".

If you don't want to or have the means to do that, the govt will step in as buyer of last resort ( kinda thing ) and make the changes then either rent property back to original owner or if owner is moving a tenant of their choosing.......that's the jist of it anyway.

It's almost like the deliberate destruction of aspiration.

Building laws at the moment say on sites of 30 private houses or more you have to build so many affordable houses (I may have the figures slightly wrong) The SNP want to change that to include social housing. One of the last sites I worked on was bungalows in Dairsie that started at £500k planking Cooncil flats in the middle of them just isn't going to work. That isn't snobbery that is just fact.

As far as I know builders don't have to build social housing at the moment. Is that not affordable housing across the road and not social? Affordable is a form of part ownership.

There are two local authorities in Scotland where affordable housing does not have to be included in new private housing estates.
Dundee City Council and North Lanarkshire Council.
Apparently this is because the cost of houses for sale in both local authority areas is a lot lower than the rest of the local authority areas throughout Scotland.
I was told this when I viewed the plans for the new houses being to be built next to Downfield Golf Club in May 2019.
I would certainly not fancy living in one of these new houses as they are jammed into a small site despite them being handy for Downfield golf club.
