I am not sure what the BBC wrongly reporting something has got to do with marking me down as a f00king Gammon whatever one of those is, and has nothing to do with politics anyway, well apart from that is why Coutts suspended Farage's account.
For balance, also, I have no idea what JRM got his knighthood for anyway. Pleased you know what balance means EP
Brexit blah blah blah, I guess it was Farage's fault that the British public DEMOCRATICALLY voted for us to leave the EU. By the way it certainly isn't the type of Brexit Farage wanted. You really need to give your head a wobble, crazyfists, if you think that Brexit is the reason for the turmoil this country, has been through. I guess you slept through covid, and haven't heard about the war in Ukraine. Liz Truss, just ruffled too many establishment feathers and was got rid of, just like any leader of any party who does sing to their tune.
Like I have said before to EP mainly, I have no allegiance or faith in any political party anymore, as I fear strings are being pulled from way above.
What I do like is someone or a party with balls, who will fight for what is best for this country. Certain factions, at the moment seem hell bent on tearing this country apart.
Woodypie, because the banks and the political parties, that count, all sleep in the same bed nowadays, I don't see this being sorted whoever is in power.

The vote may have been democratic, but the whole thing was sold on a pack of lies and scare stories from both sides.

History has shown that the best liars won, because nothing they promised has happened.

And you need to give your head a wobble if you don't think Brexit has played a huge part in that turmoil.

    I can agree with this^^^

Personally I think the " turmoil in society" was caused by the actual Brexit debate and vote itself. 50% of people, (or nigh on) on the winning side and 50% not. That's an absolute recipe for turmoil. Looking back, it prob wasn't a very good idea to hold the vote in the 1st place, but, that's beyond our pay grade. I think Parl missed a trick with May's, Brexit-Lite, version of Brexit, which I think would have satisfied the majority of people. There would have been a fair few moans and groans, but I imagine that would have been a lot more acceptable and fairer to both sides, with the vote being so close, than what we ultimately ended up with.

This sums up my political stance too.

17m for and 17m against. Nobody had or has any clue how to represent and satisfy the 17m not of their view. Bunch of asset stripping, thieving cntues have made us the sick man of Europe- well done. Let's keep blaming each other.

Jesus wept. Nothing to do with the fact he just continuously spouted bull**** which he back-tracked on. Love to know what industry you work in if Brexit didn't affect it.

Until Boris Johnson, that's what I think every PM and government in my lifetime has done. I think some were spectacularly wrong, but I think they really did believe they were fighting for what was best. Johnson I think also thought this way but was unable to translate that into actions. Sunak just ran out of competence within the party.

I also think it's what every opposition party is doing. Even Reform UK.

What would look different if the parties did this the way you want?

Can't agree about Johnson. Yes He was fighting for what He thought was best, but that has always been about himself.
