It’s part of the agreements between governing bodies and pfa etc….its not all paid by the club,is a mixture of all of the above,I suppose it’s like the parachute payments, being paid to help the fall…and the duty of care line..i think it’s one months basic money and then some kind assistance from other sources etc there on,it’s not all financial, As you see often released players invited back for pre season to keep fit and use of facilities and staff etc..although all cease if player gets another club in meantime…

Plymouth Argyle sign their second player for over £1m, for the coming season.

Final league championship prediction showing the Millers to finish bottom.

I must confess I’m starting to get frustrated. It’s now the end of the week tick tock.
Two weeks to the start of the season.

If we not going to spend all that money we have, unlike other clubs who are,we will be struggling.

I think the problem is not wanting to spend the money we don't have. I know everyone sees the millions we get and think 'where does it all go?' but keep in mind the wages of just a couple of bang average players is around a million. To get half a dozen Premiership loan players will probably cost in the region of 4-5 million.

on current squads, probably not far off. I think PA will finish lower mid table to mid table. Our recruitment needs to ramp up PDQ - here's hoping

That might be true but if we don't invest we will be bottom 3 easily in this very tough Championship and then we lose a lot of money, lots of players can leave as well and it could be an absolutely disaster. Two weeks to go before we start and we need players in, and players in that are ready to go.
