    UEFA Euro 2028

If the planet survives another five years, it looks like the UK and Ireland will be hosting Euro 2028, seeing as they're the only bidders in the running. Hampden has been selected as Scotland's stadium for the bid.

Have nothing to do with this
    Unless
    Hampden stages the final.

Ok, I accept that’s an unreasonable demand so I’ll change it.

    Unless
There is a fair and transparent draw between the four countries main stadiums to choose the final venue.

I mean, the English won’t be unreasonable enough to insist on Wembley would they?

Surely the other nations wouldn’t let them get away with that.

Not only will they insist on Wembley, but they will probably insist on automatically qualifying as hosts.

For once I don't blame the english. There are about ten million reasons that uefa will want it at Wembley rather than Hampden, which is the extra 40,000 seats at about £250 per ticket.

Of course, when you take into account all the drugged up hooligans, charging the gates to get in without a ticket, then intimidating all the other spectators, the you can see why Wembley would be UEFA's first choice.
