Same here. Thought at first that it was our internet connection but certainly this site is taking much longer to load than it used to. Almost reminds me of the old dial up days

The server is crumbling. Expect it to crash if not addressed soon.

My thoughts exactly, the server is slow or the data has been moved to another server somewhere far flung and cheap!

If it falls apart completely there’s going to be a good number of us who lose contact with each other.

I don’t know how to set up something independent so does anyone else?

Maybe those of us that get on with each other without any hassle could message between us and have a Facebook page?

in the past Ive attempted to register on a couple of other WBA forums in case this site goes belly up but you may as well not bother.

Both WestBrom.com and WBAUnofficial forums state that admin will email you once your registration is approved but they never, ever email ya to confirm

If one of us set up a WestBromMad Facebook page we could each set up a new personal profile to join if people didn’t want to use their actual name?

I have no real knowledge of Facebook but as you say Mick there must be someone on here more tech savvy than us who could indeed set up a Facebook page of sorts - Could Regis look into this??

As this site just suddenly acquired a booster? Or is it too soon to say?

I can certainly do some digging around to see what we can use as an alternative forum, whether it’s a alternative or as a backup. I do think the footymaf sites have run it’s course in general. The need for so many adverts are such a pain. Anyway, i’ll get on the case.
