He won’t find one Mick. The reason he won’t find one in addition to what several posters have written is that the statutory maximum claim is £105k. So a footballer on £20k a week would be looking for 4 and a bit weeks pay.

Further, I deal with several staff issues at work and we got accused of constructive dismissal a few years back. We were concerned but legal weren’t. Apparently it’s incredibly hard to achieve and only a small handful are successful in their claims.

So leaving a well paid job with no prospects, for a long legal fight which you’re likely to lose for £105k - which long term will damage career prospects in a lucrative industry….that is why constructive dismissal is not for footballers and why you don’t see claims.

You said that constructive dismissal would not apply. I said it could.

    I used the word ‘May.’

You are now changing the argument to suit your point, moving the goalposts, so to speak, when you know you were incorrect with your initial statements.

You are staring to make yourself look silly again. Stop digging.

You have admitted that it may lead to a constructive dismissal case in your previous post, because the legislation exists. You admit it exists now where previously you said it did not.

I never said it had been used, only that it was accessible.
No…..you’re making yourself look silly with your boring arguments which are aimed at making people lose the will to live.

You can use the word “may” in literally any argument just to perpetuate it, even when the “may” has a possible outcome of 0.00000001%.

You may yet still play for Albion, I may yet fly to to the moon.

I accept your premise, a player “may” go down that route just as a player “may” decide to machine gun down an opposing player in a fit of pique.

There’s always a possibility of the “may” happen.

I’m asking you for a single instance of when it has happened?

Call this a separate discussion if you wish?

Again, you totally misunderstand the initial argument put forward. It was simply May/Could.
Mick said can’t and it did not constitute a constructive dismissal.

It’s not my area of expertise but have just checked with a colleague who works in that area and they have said the legislation is in place and it would be up to an individual whether they took that route.

They did say that if a footballer came to them they would strongly advise an alternative to going down the route of making a complaint of constructive dismissal.

At the end of the day, that is basically it. I only that the legislation is there. It is that simple.

Yawn yawn. The only thing that’s simple is you!

It is an interesting topic, but I wish we could keep it to opinions and not continue with the he said/she said arguments... I get enough from the wife and this used to be my safe space!

Oh you are a card. Back with your insults and quite childish ones too. My children could do better than that. For an adult you come across as quite immature.

You are totally out of your depth, however, like usual you are not man enough to say so so you keep on digging. I’m sure the Aussies will be glad to see you.

I say May, you say never. I keep an open mind, yours is clearly tightly shut.

You said a few weeks ago you weren’t going to respond to any of my posts. Happy with that if you can keep a promise.

I’ll let you off the hook again before you make a total embarrassment of yourself once more.

So big of you to “let people off the hook”, it must be wonderful to be so superior as you seem to think you are.

Still awaiting your example of a player that has sued his club for unfair dismissal??

Looks like you’ve dug yourself a hole you may not get out of.

    Soft lad.

Mick, you show me where, in any post on this thread I have said a player has sued a club for constructive dismissal.

Now unfair dismissal is another matter.

Ireland and Huddersfield Town defender Richard Keogh won a substantial breach of contract claim after the English Football League (EFL) ruled he was wrongfully dismissed by former club Derby County.

    Please read this link.

Stop digging Mick, you’ll soon have a money making tourist attraction as the hole you’re digging will soon be greater than the Grand Canyon.

As I have answered your question re: unfair dismissal, see if you can answer the one I have put to you above. ‘Can you show me where, in any post on this thread, I have said a player has sued a club for constructive dismissal.’

That question is the crux of the matter, so let’s see your answer on just that one question. No flowering it up or throwing more insults to cloud the issue. Just show where I have said it has happened.

If you can show me where I have written that a player has sued a football club for constructive unfair dismissal I will apologies to you unequivocally. Hopefully, you will be able do the same if you are unable to find where I have made such a statement.
