    Superb nicknames?

I listen to Reels on Facebook from a radio station in New Zealand called The Rock, search these guys out, they are seriously funny presenters.

Anyway, they do a feature on real life nicknames as a regular feature.

Best one I’ve heard so far was about a guy who had one leg two inches shorter than the other one and his workmates nicknamed him…..

    The Sniper’s Nightmare 🤣🤣🤣🤣

My favourite from personal experience was my dad’s colleague at work who’s surname was Bodily and he was known as Grevious 🤣🤣🤣

A lad in my brothers year had the habit of peeing himself and he’s still known as “Wet Patch”.

A girl at school was unable to keep her knickers on and was an absolute tramp but rather than call her slag she was known to everyone as “Pig Iron”.🤣🤣🤣🤣

The Rock is a really good listen if you have the time.

    The Sniper’s Nightmare.
    I like that one.

In Ireland it is common practise to shorten a person name, no matter what it is. With all the different names from around the world coupled with my inability to remember names anyway, I can offend people at first when I get their name wrong.
But they soon realize I am like that with people I have worked with for years.

However, one colleague's name I remember without any problem is called Jizzme.
    Names can be very funny.

A truly mediocre ref in Sunday league and not the sharpest tool in the box went by ”FIFA Kenneth”.

There was a lad on basic training whose surname was Rhea. He was inevitably known as Gonor.

Two vehicle electricians at my unit were called Flash and BoD. Flash because everything he touched went up in flames and BoD stood for Brain on Demand; I'll leave you to work out why.

Had two pals named Dave in our group of mates too, one of whom is sadly no longer with us.

The shorter one was called Big Dave on account of being longer down below than the taller Little Dave who was nowhere near as big down below as the shorter Big Dave 😊 .
