    Murphy... & co ;-)

Thought he played a blinder yesterday...

    First goal was a peach

After that he intercepted the ball, ran down the line and was cutting in parallel to the goal line through 2 defenders only to be checked with a blatant foul of a forearm to his chest

His pass through to Wilson that started the move leading to Barnes first goals was un-f**king-believable!

Joelinton's goal was majestic too mind, dinking round a player then striding through and smashing it in... then Wilson's vision and unselfishness to tee up Barnes was a joy.

Very optimistic for next weekend after yesterdays performance... only real concern is how we handle Diaby... who is at LB is gonna be facing a quick and lethal player.

agree with all of it mate. We look bang at it for the season kick off!

I'm not so concerned about Diaby, we will be all over them from whistle to whistle.

My slight concern is more about the tactics deployed by Emre last season when we took a hiding.

Hopefully Howe has reviewed the tape repeatedly from our pre-season and the match at Villa Park to find a solution to get the 3 points and kick off our season with a win!

If there is one thing I'm very confident of, it is that Howe will have obsessively watched that game to make sure we're fully aware of how to hit them hard back and to maximise our chances against them.
