If you're.referring to Rodon, I fear not. At least as far as "the media" goes he plays as a CB (so maybe Struijk is on his way?)

The lad is young, yet has a senior cap for Italy, and has scored for his country. He is one of the very few current Leeds players who, despite his clear need for greater self-discipline, has excited the supporters playing both home and away and in the PL and EFL. We got him for a song, one of the VERY few credits Orta deserves, however I suspect that like all those who have departed after a very short spell at ER, he was promised PL gametime, and with it the exposure on the world stage of football. He's not going to get that this season, and might not for some time and so the "bargain" that was struck when he joined isn't being delivered (in his eyes, his agents, and/or his parents).

Which of those who have voiced their disgust at the lads desire to leave wouldn't do the same (perhaps HAVE done the same) when a promised future fails to materialise? "Walk a mile in my shoes".

Btw, he may have played in 24 PL games, but only with 56 mins per game on average, and at least he has scored for us, unlike a certain Mr Rutter for whom we paid SEVEN times as much as for Gnonto.
He has his agent/advisers, who seem to be stirring things up, they would also have their own views on how well Leeds would do in PL and not believing everything our previous owners/manager may have promised him. Nothing is guaranteed with regard how well the season goes. In his interview Farke said he was fit but unavailable, to date Farke has been transparent…. Nobody bigger than the club including this delusional bargain heads been turned.

Maybe, just maybe, if we all paid a bit less notice of the likes of Newsnow and more of what was real and official, we might all save ourselves a great deal of wasted effort?

Refer you my last post. No-one knows what has been said or not, but we all (well most) get bent out of shape about those who "seem to be stirring things up". How do you or anyone else know if or how a head gets turned?

You seem to know what was said to him by LUFC, with all the promises not being kept allegedly

Never said I knew, just worked on some reasonable hypotheses (why else would a young capped Italian wish to join a less than well established PL club but with international recognition?). Not so much promises as prospects, and ince.those prospects disappear, so does the players commitment.

If Gnonto goes, he goes, but for all those who have accused him of selfishness, egoism, etc, tell me that last time you watched a match without him playing when you saw a Leeds player take possession and think "oh yeah, get we go" and then think back to the last game you saw him feature thinking the same thought.

Risking (perhaps) the ire of those of my generation who saw a similar young player who regarded match officials as unnecessary obstacles to achieving the games objective, WINNING, I thing Billy would be a fan of Mr.Gnonto, me too.

In 2022/23, Rutter played 1 match plus 10 as a sub since being signed in Jan 2023 window.

    53% completed passes.
    82% tackle success.
Average minutes per match 30 mins.
Not complained once to any coaches he's played for & not one coach complained about him despite being played in various positions.

Rutter is a player who loves to run with the ball & take on defenders & a success rate of just under 50% is highly respectable given the sheer volume attempted of runs asked of him.

Suggest you pass an opinion when he's played 24 games this season hopefully in place of want away wild whinging Willy & hopefully under Farke you'll see his counter-attack threat & his strong defensive abilities tracking back which Farke has been working on with him at TA.
    Just saying 🤫
