Appreciate that, man. Think your high line made things tough for you.

I was worried about playing Villa, They are the only team to really batter us last season.

First half was pretty even. We improved as the game went on and “intensity is our identity” was very evident in the second half. Villa are a good side, with a top manager, but their decision to play a high line was costly and we destroyed them in the last 25 minutes. They were quite lucky it was only 5 in the end.

They must hate coming to SJP. Their record here is dreadful. Perfect start to the season.

Probably, but that could work in our favour, he’s used to being no 1, he might have to share that now, which he won’t enjoy, good.

Likewise Dave, your lads showed enough to know you'll be around the top 6 come the reconning.

Best wishes for Mings, its always a bad one when it's not a major impact. A player goes down on his own something has failed.

Hope he has a speedy recovery so you lot can challenge the fraudies alongside us!

Something happened to change our performance around the 65 minute mark. We seemed to move up a gear. I’ll have another watch of the game coz I don’t know what caused it.
